I am being treated by a doctor &/or chiropractor now, what is the difference?
Dr. Miller is a board certified chiropractic neurologist. Out of 60,000 chiropractors in the U.S., only about 1500 are board certified chiropractic neurologists. He is currently only one of three in Nebraska and the only chiropractic neurologist in Lincoln.

Usual office visits in a chiropractor’s office last from 3 to 5 minutes. Dr. Miller prides himself on spending the time required to determine the exact cause of complex cases and spending the time necessary to address the issue. The chiropractic adjustment is only one of the many possible modalities that might be utilized in a care plan.

The functional metabolic evaluations are similar to what a medical doctor may order and the neurological examinations are in-depth and thorough. The only difference from that of a medical neurologist is that Dr. Miller does not use drugs or surgery to address these complex neurological cases. Conservative methods are utilized to retrain and strengthen the viable nervous system.

This approach addresses the person orthopedically and neurologically as well as metabolically.  No other program addresses all of these aspects of care.

Why do you use Oxygen Therapy?
Your brain and nervous system need two things to survive: Fuel and Activation. Fuel comes in the form of oxygen and glucose. As we age our ability to use oxygen decreases. Oxygen therapy will help you get better faster!

Are your treatments safe?
Yes, extremely safe and based on a “NO PAIN – NO PAIN” philosophy. Activating a pain fiber only strengthens that pathway and leads us away from our goal.

Do I need to stop taking my medications?
Please be advised that Dr. Miller will never tell you to stop taking your medications. That is deemed practicing medicine without a license. As your symptoms improve during the course of care, Dr. Miller may recommend that you return to your physician to adjust medication levels.

What is the 2 Visit program all about?
The 2 visit program is a way for you to meet with Dr. Miller to determine if you are a candidate for care in his office. It will allow Dr. Miller to determine if you meet the criteria for care and if he will accept your case. If you wish to continue with treatment after the 2 visits, it is entirely up to you.

Am I a candidate for Dr. Miller’s treatments?
Not all patients will be accepted into our program. Dr. Miller will make a determination of treatment acceptance after an initial evaluation.

Will my insurance cover the treatments?
Every insurance policy is different and the staff at Dr. Miller’s office will check on your insurance coverage. We will advise you of any coverage or limitations of coverage before any care is initiated.

How much do your treatments cost?
It varies due to individual patient findings. People are different, so it goes to say that treatments need to be specifically tailored to the specific needs of the person. This is not a “one size (or pill) fits all” type of program. After a thorough review of your case, Dr. Miller will determine the course of care for your specific case and discuss any financial obligations prior to starting the program.
Full transparency.
